I think that stir fried mixed vegetable with less oil is a healthy dish that i would recommend. Vegetable it self contains lots of vitamins and nutrients and with addition to the less oil and non-greasy and healthy dish that the whole family would enjoy.
Through the PT and the food and nutrient module, I've learned that I should change my eating habits and not consume too much of sweet, oily or salty stuff like deep fried chicken wings, snacks and other unhealthy food. However, its ok to consume them once in a while, but I'll just have to take note not to over consume them. I think my diet is overall healthy. I eat anything that comes to me and I'm not picky over food. That's why I think that my diet is well balanced and is also considered a healthy one. The nutritional tools were useful as I got to know what a certain food contains and also what to avoid eating and what is good for our body.
The one-dish meal that I suggested is healthy as it is a mixture of all types of vegetables such as carrots, cabbage, onions, broccoli etc. and all these vegetables contains different vitamins for example carrots are rich in vitamin A which is good for our eyes as it enhances our vision. My family eats them at least once a week and less oil is important too too much oil produces excess fats and those fats will then be accumulated and might cause heart disease and other diseases in the long run.
